Making of the crown

Ch2,

Round 1: 8 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook. join with a sl st.

Round 2: ch1, 2 hdc in every st. join. (( 16)

Round 3: ch1, *2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next st**, repeat from * to **, join with a sl st. (24)

Round 4: ch1, *2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 2 sts**, repeat from * to **, join with a sl st. ( 32)

Round 5: ch1, *2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 3 sts**, repeat from * to **, join with a sl st. ( 40)

Change color

Row 2: join the new color to any corner, ch3, in the next ch1 sp and every ch1 sp , make ( 3dc, ch1, 3dc). In the last sp, make 3dc, ch1, 2dc, join to the 1st ch3 with a sl st.

Row 3: with another color, in any corner, ch3, 3 dc in the same corner, in the next sp, and every sp between the corners, make 3 dc, in every corner make ( 3dc, ch1, 3dc). In the last corner, make 3dc, ch1, join with a sl st to the initial h3.

Row 4 and 5, repeat row 3.

Join the square by stitching them one by one using a tapestry needle to form a round. ( refer to the video)

Join the flat circle ( crown) to the round granny squares with a sc in every st from the flat circle and granny squares until they're all joined. The squares must have 16 sts each to match the number of the flat circle (80). 16*5= 80.

Making of the brim

From any st, join with the blue color, ch1, sc in the same st around, join with a sl st.

Next round: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next st, repeat throughout.

Next 6 round: sc around. Fasten off.
