Perfect Round Circled Blanket Pattern

 

There is something about the round or circled blanket that attracts a lot of crochet lovers, I'm saying this because I have previously done a blanket and it is the most bought Pdf in my etsy shop.

I do love the circled blanket as well:

1)Because it is challenging to keep it perfectly round

2)Because the color combination is always pretty

3) Because it is simply special and different from all other crocheted blankets

There are so many ways to make the round blanket, whether you use double crochet stitch or single crochet or even half double crochet, whether you use one color or many colors it'll be always pretty.

In this pattern, my main color was Guacamole green, so I made 2 rows of different color and 1 row green, the green color separated all the other colors.

Notes:

In the pattern, after certain number of rows, you'll do 1 dc in every st for 2 rounds without the 2 dc in one st and that is to keep the circle perfectly round without the sliced look.

ch4, join to form a ring

Round 1: ch2, 10 dc in the ring, join in the 1st dc.

Round 2: Ch2, 2dc in the next st, 2 dc in every st ( 20 dc)

Round 3: Ch2, 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, repeat ( 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st) till end of the round (30)

Round 4: Ch2, 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 2st, repeat ( 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 2st) till end of the round (40)

Round 5: Ch2, 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 3st, repeat ( 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 3st) till end of the round (50)

Round 6: Ch2, 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 4st, repeat ( 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 4st) till end of the round (60)

Continue increasing the 1 dc in every round by 1 till round 18

Round 18 and 19: ch2, dc in every st till end of the round.

Round 20: ch 2, 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 16 st, repeat ( 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 16 st) till end of the round.

Continue increasing the 1 dc in every round till round 42

Round 42, 43: 1 dc in every stitch till the end of the round

Round 44 : Ch2, 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 38 st, repeat ( 2dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next 38 st) till end of the round.

Round 45 to 51, keep increasing the single dc in every round by one.

Round 52 and 53: ch2, 1 dc in every st till the end of the round . Fasten off.
