V stitch blanket crochet pattern

Ch 160
Row 1: in the 4th ch from the hook, make a dc, sk2, (dc, ch1, dc) all in the next ch, repeat (sk2, dc,ch1,dc) all in the next sp until the end of the row.
Row 2: ch4, DC in the ch1 sp, working only in the previous ch1 sps: dc, ch1, dc, throughout the row.
Repeat row 2 throughout the work, change color as per color chart. Color change, at the end of the row, insert the new color into the last worked v st, ch4, DC all in the v st, continue as per pattern. Repeat for a total of 88 rows.
