Double v stitch crochet pattern

This pattern is general on how to make the double V stitch pattern and is not specific to any crochet project, you’ll learn how to make the double v stitch for any project.

Materials

Any yarn with the recommended crochet hook on the yarn label

Here I have used medium worsted yarn with 8 mm crochet hook

Measurements/ gauge

5 rows: 20/10 cm

10 cm: 14 sts/ 5rows

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Dc: double crochet

Incomplete dc: yarn over, insert the hook into the st/ ch, pull through, pull through 2. stop

Written pattern

Ch 20

Row 1: incomplete dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, ch1, work 2 incomplete dc, *sk 2, ( 2 incomplete dc, ch1, 2 incomplete dc)** in the next st. Repeat from * to ** till the end of the row.

Row 2 to end of project: ch2, in the previous ch1 sp and every ch 1 sp, work the double v stitch ( 2 incomplete dc, ch, 2 incomplete dc) till the end of the row.

Repeat row 2 throughout.
