Carrot crochet pattern
Easy and quick way to make a carrot which will take less than half an hour. A must try.
Materials
1 orange, 1 green medium worsted yarn
4 mm crochet hook.

Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sc: single crochet
Sctog: single crochet together
Sl st: slip stitch
Sts: stitches
Written pattern
Ch12
Row 1: ch1, sc in the 1st 5 sts, 2sctog in the following 2 sts, sc in the next 5 sts.
Row 2: ch1, sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sctog in the following 2 sts, sc in the next 5 sts.
Row 3 to 5: ch1, sc in every st.
Row 6: ch1, 2 sctog, sc in the next sts, 2 sctog in the last 2 sts.
Row 7 to 10: ch1, sc in every st.
Row 11 to 16: ch1, 2sctog in the 1st 2 sts, sc in every st.
Going around, sl st in every st. Fasten off.
Leaf 1: Join the green color in the 1st st on top og the carrot (insert the hook in the first st, pull the yarn through, ch1, sc in the same st) continue ch9, go back to the start st and sl st.
Leaf 2: Sl st to the next st, ch8, sl st back to the same st.
Leaf 3: Sl st to the next st, ch10, sl st back.
Leaf 4: Repeat leaf 2
Leaf 5: Repeat leaf 3
