 Medium 4 worsted yarn 

6 mm crochet hook 

Abbreviations 

Ch: chain 

Sl st: slip stitch

 Sc: single crochet 

Sp: space

 Sps: spaces 

Star point: * 

Written pattern

 Ch2

 Round 1: in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc, ch1 5 times, join to the initial ch1. 

Round 2: ch1 ( sc, ch1, sc) all in the ch1 sp of the previous round, ch1, ( sc, ch1,sc) all in the next ch1 sp. Repeat, ( sc, ch1, sc) in the next sp, ch1, till the end of the round, join. 

Round 3: ch1, sc in the next ch 1 sp, ch1, sc in the next sp, ch1, sc in the next sp, repeat the same till the end of the round. 

Round 4: ch1, in the next sp *( sc, ch1, sc, ch1), in the following sp, sc, ch1, repeat from the star point till the end of the round. 

Round 5: repeat round 3 

Round 6: ch1, in the next sp *( sc, ch1, sc, ch1), in the following 2 sps, sc, ch1, repeat from the star point till the end of the round. 

Round 7: repeat round 3 

Round 8: ch1, in the next sp *( sc, ch1, sc, ch1), in the following 3 sps, sc, ch1, repeat from the star point till the end of the round.

 Round 9: repeat round 3 

Round 10: ch1, in the next sp *( sc, ch1, sc, ch1), in the following 4 sps, sc, ch1, repeat from the star point till the end of the round. 

Round 11: repeat round 3 

Round 12: ch1, in the next sp *( sc, ch1, sc, ch1), in the following 5 sps, sc, ch1, repeat from the star point till the end of the round.

 Round 13: repeat round 3

 Keep increasing the single crochet st in every space by one in every other round till you get to the width required of your chosen project.
