Single crochet shawl pattern





  

This shawl is very simple to make, it is a repetition of two rows throughout the work and builds up quickly, it is worked initially worked from bottom to top and later it starts expanding sideways

4 yarn balls

 2 dark blue

 2 Soft blue

 1 light blue

Abbreviations

 Ch: chain

 St: stitch 

Sl st: slip stitch 

Sc: single crochet

 Sts: stitches 

Written pattern

 Ch2 

Row 1: 2 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook.

 Row 2: ch1, sc in the 1st st, 2 sc in the last st. 

Row 3: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, sc in the next sts.

 Row 4: ch1, sc in the 1st st, sc in the next sts, 2 sc in the last st.

 Row 5: repeat row 3 

Row 6: repeat row 4.

 Alternate between row 3 and 4 until the end of work or until row 142 

Changing color: insert the hook in the next st pull the new color through and work the sc, please refer to the video link above
