Cat bed crochet pattern

 This project is made in 2 steps, first you make the pillow and then the pillow bed, one is worked in single crochet and the other in half double crochet, the measurements for the 2 pieces is approximately 44 cm all around and the height is 10 cm 

Note 

The number in brackets is what you need to get at the end of each round. You might sometimes end up the last stitch after the stitch marker for that you need to keep the right count of each round.

 Ch2

 Round 1: 6 sc in the 1st ch from the st do not join Place a stitch marker

 Round 2: 2sc in the next ch and each ch till the stitch marker (12)

 Round 3: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next st, repeat 2, 1, 2, 1 till the stitch marker ( 18)

 Round 4: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 2 sts, repeat 2,1,1,2,1,1, till the stitch marker ( 24)

 Round 5: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 3 sts, repeat. (30)

 Round 6: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 4 sts, repeat. (36) 

Round 7: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 5 sts, repeat. (42) 

Round 8: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 6 sts, repeat. (48) 

Round 9: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 7 sts, repeat. (54) 

Round 10: 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 8 sts, repeat. (60) 

Round 11 to 28: repeat the previous and keep increasing the sc st in every round by 1. 

Round 29 and 30: sc in every st around. 

Round 31: ch1, turn the opposite side, sc in the next 165 st . Working back and forth, Leaving the opening of the bed unworked

 Round 32: ch1, turn, sc in every st. Repeat round 32, 13 more times.

 Ch3

 Round 1: 6 hdc in the 3rd st from the hook, join. (7), the initial ch3 is counted as hdc. 

Round 2: ch 2, 2 hdc in every st, join (14) 

Round 3: ch2, 2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next st, repeat, 2,1,2,1 till the end of the round. Join (21) Round 4: ch2, 2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 2 sts, repeat till the end of the round. (28)

 Round 4 to 22: Repeat the previous round and keep increasing the single hdc in every round by 1. Round 22 to 24: hdc in every St. Join the two pieces with a sl st around and fill the pillow with fiber fill before you finish stitching.
