Granny square headband crochet pattern

This head band is worked for medium to large size, it is made of 4 rows of granny square and 2 rows of single crochet

Make 6 squares

Ch4

Round 1: 2 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, ch2, 3 dc in the same ch, ch2, 3 dc in the same ch, ch2, 3dc in the same ch, ch2, join to the top initial ch4.

Round 2: ch3, 3dc, ch2, 3dc all in the next space, repeat the same in the next 2 spaces. In the last space, 3dc, ch2, 2dc, join.

Round 3: ch3, 2dc in the same space, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) all in the next corner, 3dc in the next space, repeat () for the corners and 3dc in the rest of the spaces.

Round 4: ch3, 3 dc in the next space, *(3dc, ch2, 3dc) all in the corner, **3 dc in the next 2 spaces repeat from * to ** till the end of the round, in the last space make 2dc, join. Fasten off.

Using a tapestry needle, start stitching the 1st 2 square together from the inside loop of the 2 squares, do the same for all the squares till you have them all attached as a band.

Now join the yarn in the beginning of the 1st square, ch 1, 2 sc in the space (granny square corner), sc in every st and in every corner along make 2 sc, all around the headband.

Finish 2 rounds of sc and at last, join the 2 ends stitching them together and fasten off.
