Christmas tree ornaments crochet pattern





In this pattern you’ll find 3 different crochet trees all beginners friendly and easy to achieve, the sizes will differ according to your preference. You can add or minus in the number of rows as you wish.

Materials:

Kartopu love cotton yarn

Crochet hook: 4 mm

Abbreviations:

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Sl st: slip stitch

Pattern 1: granny tree crochet

Measurements:

10/ 11 cm

How to crochet the Granny triangle

Written Pattern:

ch3, join with a sl st to form a ring

Round 1: ch3, 3dc in the ring, ch2, 3 dc in the ring, ch 2, 3 dc in the ring, join with a sl st.

Round 2: ch3, in the next sp make (3dc, ch2, 3 dc), repeat the same in the next sp, in the last sp, make (3dc, ch2, 2dc) join to the initial ch3.

Round 3: ch3, 2dc, ch2, 2dc all in the sp, 3 dc in the next sp, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) all in the next sp now called a corner, 3 dc in the next sp. Repeat, in the corners (3dc, ch2, 3dc) and on the side spaces 3 dc.

Repeat round 3 till you obtain the size you wish for the triangle granny.

Making the tree leg, leave an equal number of stitches on each side of the triangle base and join the yarn, ch 1, sc in the same space as ch 1, sc in every st till where you have to stop (the number of chains left).

Ch1, turn, sc in every st, repeat for 4 times. Fasten off

Blocking the granny square will give it a better and more edged look, place a cotton cloth on top of the crochet piece and iron it on a low to medium heat.

Pattern 2: Single crochet tree

Measurements:

12/12 cm

How to crochet an easy single crochet triangle

Written Pattern

ch2, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, turn.

Row 1: Ch1, 2sc in the st.

Row 2: Ch1, sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st.

Row 3: Ch1, sc in the 1st st, sc in the next st, 2 sc in the last st.

Row4: Ch1, sc in the 1st st, sc in the next 2 st, 2sc in the last st

Row5: ch1, sc in the 1st, sc in every st, 2 sc in the last st.

Repeat row 5 till you obtain the width you want.

For my triangle I did 20 rows.

From the base of the triangle, leave 8 st and join the yarn on the 9th st, ch 1 and sc in the same st, sc in the next 3 st. Turn

Ch1, sc in all 4 st, repeat for 4 more rows. Fasten off.

Pattern 3: Fluffy tree

Measurements:

14/13 cm

Written Pattern:

ch2, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, turn.

Row 1: Ch1, 2sc in the st.

Row 2: Ch1, sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st.

Row 3: Ch1, sc in the 1st st, sc in the next st, 2 sc in the last st.

Row4: Ch1, sc in the 1st st, sc in the next 2 st, 2sc in the last st

Row5: ch1, sc in the 1st, sc in every st, 2 sc in the last st.

Repeat row 5 till you obtain the width you want.

On the lower corner of the triangle, insert the yarn, ch1, sc on the same st, sk 1, 5 dc in the next st, sk 1, sc in the next st, sk 1, 5 dc in the next st, repeat around till you reach the opposite corner. Fasten off.
