Granny stripes blanket crochet pattern






I have made 3 row s of each color for this pattern, and the yarn I used is so soft and classy looking, red heart soft yarn, it is your choice whether to use the same or a different one

The granny stripes are one of the easiest and prettiest patterns I have done and using different colors makes it even better.

Materials

Crochet hook 5.5 mm

Red heart soft

2 Chocolate

2 Orange

2 Wheat

2 Teal

2 Seafoam

2 Turquoise

2 berry 

2 blush 

2 pink

18 stitches/ 8 rows: 13cm/13cm

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Sc: single crochet

Sk: skip

Sl st: slip stitch

Sp: space

Written Pattern

Ch 180

Row 1: 2dc in the 4th ch from the hook, *sk 2, 3 dc in the next ch, sk 2, 3dc in the next ch**, repeat from * to ** till the end of the round

Row 2: ch3, 3 dc in the next sp, 3 dc in every sp, 1dc in the last st (on top of the last dc)

Repeat till required length obtained.

Changing color: Make a slip knot and insert it in the beginning of the new row and ch 3, continue working as per pattern

Note

When your last st in a row is a dc, the beginning of the next row will be 3 dc.

When the last row is a sp and you make 3 dc, the beginning of the next row is a dc only.
