Crochet baby cocoon blanket pattern


 

Introduction

This baby blanket is worked in rounds using half double crochet, it is made of 40 rows and is large in size, with the same measurement, you can build up more rows for an adult blanket around 100 total rows, follow the pattern for ease of achievement.

The Pattern is worked in the back loop only throughout the entire blanket.

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Hdc: half double crochet

Written Pattern:

Ch4

Round 1: 9 hdc in the 1st ch from the hook, do not join.

Working on the back loop only,

Round 2: on top of the next hdc, 2 hdc, 2 hdc in every st

Working in spiral

Round 3: 2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next st, alternate 2hdc in the next st, 1hdc in the following st.

Round 4: 2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 2st, alternate 2hdc in the next st, 1hdc in the following 2st.

Round 5: 2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 3st, alternate 2hdc in the next st, 1hdc in the following 3st.

Round 6: 2hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 4st, alternate 2hdc in the next st, 1hdc in the following 4st.
