Crochet letter T

 Letters are A must know in crochet as it first expends your knowledge about crochet and gives you more option for crochet projects.

I  have done most of the alphabets and numbers and the patterns are all available in the blog, just press the tag crochet alphabets and you'll find them all.

For today here is the pattern for letter T


Materials

Mercerized cotton yarn
3 mm crochet hook or smaller

Measurements

9/9 cm

Abbreviations

ch: chain
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
st: stitch

Written Pattern

ch6
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch.
Row 2 to 15: ch1, sc in every st.
Row 16: from the last st, ch7.
Row 17: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch and st, continue ch 7.
Row 18: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch and st.
Row 19, 20: ch1, sc in every st, continue sc on the side of the T letter, sc around till you get to the other side of the T, sl st 6 times then continue sc on the side, fasten off.
You can make the letter as big or small as you want, you only have to increase the number from the beginning and while making the hat of the T letter accordingly.
If you're not comfortable starting the pattern from bottom, you can invert and start from the top by ch 20, make 4 rows and fasten off. Join the yarn on the 8th st, ch 1, sc and sc in the next 5 st, ch1, sc in every st, repeat for 15 rows, fasten off.
