Crochet laptop mat Pattern

 

Introduction

This mat is worked alternating the two colors in every row without cutting the yarn, you simply carry the next color and hide it in every single crochet you work so to avoid wastage of the yarn and the pretty look at the sides of the mat. If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact me.

How to single crochet

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Sc: single crochet

Sl st: slip stitch

Written Pattern:

With color A, ch80

Row 1: Sc in the 2nd Ch from the hook, Sc in every Ch till the end of the row.

Join color B,

Row 2: hiding color A along the work, make a sc in the first st with color B, sc in every st till the end of the row.

Row 2 to 35: Repeat row 2, alternating colors in every row. Fasten off.

Notes:

When changing colors, join the next color on the hook holding the loose extremity with the previous color, hide it in the next worked single crochet.
