V stitch crochet bucket hat

The bucket hat is easy to realize if you are familiar with how to make flat circle, make the V stitch, then the instructions will be easy to follow, check the links above for a clearer understanding.

So since it's summer, the bucket hat is still popular to crochet however it is nice to create different styles using other stitches and the V stitch turned out pretty on the bucket hat, follow the pattern to achieve the same look I got in the picture

I have used cotton yarn and 5.5 mm crochet hook.

V st: DC, ch1, DC.

2 v st: 1dc, ch1, 2dc,ch1,1dc.

Written Pattern

Round 1: 2 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, ch1, 1dc in the same ch, (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in the same ch total of 5 times, you should obtain 6 V stitches, join to the initial ch.

Round 2: Round 2: in the previous v st, make 2 v st ( DC,ch1, 2dc,ch1,DC) repeat the same in every v st . Join .

Round 3: in the first v st make 2v st, in the next v st, make 1 v st, alternate 2,1,2,1 till the end of the round.

Round 4: 2v st in the first v st, 1v st in the next 2v st of the previous round, alternate 2,1,1,2,1,1.

Round 5 and 6: increase the single v st by one in each round.

Round 7 to 11: v st in every previous v st .

Round 12: 2v st in the first v st, 1v st in the next 2 v st, repeat.

Round 13,14,15: v st in every previous v st, fasten off .
