 The perfect bucket hat

The Pattern is written for medium size, for a larger size you must enlarge the flat circle in the beginning work, that means instead of doing 12 rounds of flat circle, you make 15 and if you want a smaller size you make 10 rounds, the rest  stays the same.

The hat is worked in 3 steps, you need to place a stitch marker for that purpose, the crown making, rounding the hat and finally constructing the brim of the bucket hat.

Ch 2

Round 1: 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join  with a sl st to the 1st sc.

Round 2: ch1, 2 sc in every st, join

Round 3: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, sc in the next st, alternate, 2sc, 1sc, 2sc... till the end of the round, join

Round 4: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 2 st, repeat , 2,1,1,2,1,1 till end of the round

Round 5: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 3 st, repeat , 2,1,1,1,2,1,1 ,1 till end of the round

Round 6: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 4 st, repeat , 2,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1 till end of the round

Round 7: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 5 st, repeat , 2,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1 till end of the round

Round 8: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 6 st, repeat ,  till end of the round

Round 9: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 7 st, repeat ,  till end of the round

Round 10: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 8 st, repeat ,  till end of the round

Round 11: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 9 st, repeat ,  till end of the round

Round 12: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 10 st, repeat , till end of the round

Round 13 to 27: working in spiral, sc in every st.

Round 28: from the last point or the stitch marker point, palce 2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in the next 3 st, repeat 2sc in the next st, 1 sc in the next 3 st till the end of the round ( st marker point).

Round 29 to 38: sc in every st, fasten off by a sl st.

I don't prefer to do it but you can add a row of sl st at the end to shape more the bucket hat.
