Row 1: hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook, hdc in every ch till the end of the row.

Row2: Holding the work upside down, place 2 hdc in the same st ( 1st st), 1 hdc in every st, 2 hdc in the last st, join the the first st.

Row 3: ch2, hdc in the first st as ch 2, 1 hdc in the next 4 st, sk 2, *1 hdc in the next 5 st, in the next st make 2hdc , ch1, 2hdc all in the same st, 1 hdc in the next 5 st**, repeat till the end of the round from * to **, sk 2,  1 hdc in the last st, join

Row 4 to Row 20: ch2, 1 hdc in the next 5 st, sk 2, 1 hdc in the next 5 st, in the next sp( 2 hdc, ch1, 2hdc) repeat till the end of the round, join .

Row 5 onwards, when you make 1 hdc in the next 5 st, you might get an extra "empty" stitch, you skip that one and you do 2 hdc, ch1, 2hdc in the space.
