Crochet a Simple round pillow Pattern

So because of the fame my round blanket got whether in the blog post or in my Etsy shop, I thought I would add a simple round pillow as it is very easy yet pretty looking to add to a living room or a bedroom.

This pillow is made of 9 rows and using a chunky yarn with 9 mm crochet hook, the 10th row is a slip stitch around, then both rounds are stitches together and filled with a fiber filler or cotton.

Materials:

Bernat yarn  2 balls

Crochet hook  9mm

Abbreviations:

ch: chain

st: stitch

sl st: slip stitch

dc: double crochet

Written Pattern

Make 2 rounds

ch4, join with a sl st

Round 1: ch3, 10 dc in the ring, join

Round 2: ch3, 2 dc in every st (22)

Round 3: ch3, 2 dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the following st, repeat till end of the round, join (33)

Round 4: ch3, 2dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 3 st, 2dc in the same st, 1 dc in the next 3 st, repeat till end of the round

Round 5: ch3, 2dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 4 st, 2dc in the same st, 1 dc in the next 4 st, repeat till end of the round

Round 6: ch3, 2dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 5 st, 2dc in the same st, 1 dc in the next 5 st, repeat till end of the round

Round 7: ch3, 2dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 6 st, 2dc in the same st, 1 dc in the next 6st, repeat till end of the round

Round 8: ch3, 2dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 7 st, 2dc in the same st, 1 dc in the next 7 st, repeat till end of the round

Round 9 : ch3, 2dc in the same st as ch3, 1 dc in the next 8 st, 2dc in the same st, 1 dc in the next 8 st, repeat till end of the round

Round 10: ch1, sl st in every st, fasten off

Place 2 rounds facing each other, wit the left yarn thread, stitch the two round together using the inside loops, fill with cotton or filler fiber and continue stitching till closed.
