How to Crochet the letter C
So continuing the letters series, today is the pattern of the letter C. Let me know if you have any questions.
Abbreviations
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
st: stitch
sl st: slip stitch
2sc tog: 2 single crochet together
Written Pattern
Ch 16
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch. turn
Row 2: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st as ch 1, sc in every st, 2sc in the last st. turn
Row 3: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st as ch 1, sc in every st, 2sc in the last st. turn
Row 4: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st as ch 1, sc in the next 4 st. turn
Row5 and 6: Repeat row 4
Row 7to 14: ch1, sc in the next st and every st. turn
Row 15: ch 1, 2 sc tog, sc in every st.
Row 16 and 17: Repeat row 15
Row 17: from the last st, ch 10
Row 18: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch, sc in every st, 2sctog in the last 2 st.
Row 19: ch1, 2 sctog, sc in every st, 2 sctog in the last 2 st.
Row 20: ch1, sc in every st. fasten off.
In the thinner side of the C letter, join the yarn, ch1, 2 sc in the first st, sc in the next 2 st, 2 sctog in the last st.
Next 2 rows: ch1, sc in every st. fasten off.
Repeat the same on the other end of the letter.
