Crochet easy and warm slippers

slippers are one of the easiest and quickest crochet patterns you can make, it takes roughly 2 hours or less depending on your speed and it is warm and very useful at home.
I have made different ones in the past but I particularly like these because they are up to the ankles and the feel solid and soft in the same time.

Here are the ones I did before ( click on the picture )

I have used a smaller hook for this pattern to make the slippers tight and thick

In this pattern you must keep your counts .
Ch 2. 5 SC in the 2nd ch from the hook.
Working in spiral, 2sc in the next st and every st (10sc)
Continuing the same way, 2sc in the next st, 1sc in the following one, alternate till 15 st obtained.
Continuing the same way, 2sc in the next st, 1sc in the next 2st, alternate till you get 20
Continuing the same way, 2sc in the next st, 1sc in the next 3st, alternate till you get 25
Continuing the same way, 2sc in the next st, 1sc in the next 4st, alternate till you get 30
From now on work 1sc in every st till round 34.

Round 35, ch 1, turn, sc in every st till you are left with 6 st, ch 1 again and turn, sc in every st, repeat for a total of 15 times.

Holding the two ends of the heel side wrong side sew them together.

Optional:
you can finish by making 2 rows of single crochet around the ankle and add a row of slip stitch to make the slippers a bit tight like in the picture
