How to crochet a fancy beach headscarf

I got inspired to do this pretty scarf by a post on Instagram, as I was scrolling and I found a beautiful and colorful scarf worn by a lady on the beach, it looked so perfect and since my favorite colors are purple shades and grey, I decided to use them both and add a bit of light with the yellow, I like the combination of all three colors and how the final result looked and I hope you do to.

This pattern is very easy , especially if you like the granny stripes, I find this pattern the best for summer crochet as it is breathable but not to open as well, you can use it for a variety of projects.

I have used cotton mercerized yarn for this project and as I mentioned three colors, you'll find the link to the yarn or similar below, as well as the written pattern for it.

Crochet hook: 4 MM
Yarn used: any mercerized yarn, grey, yellow and lilac.

Written Pattern

Row 1: 2DC in the 4rd ch from the hook, sk 2 3 dc in the next ch, sk 2,3dc in the next ch, repeat till end of the row.

Row2: ch 3, 3dc in the space, 3dc in every space, 1dc on top of the last st ( previous chain 3)
With yellow color, make a magic loop, insert the hook into the last space.

Row 3: ch3 in the space, 2dc in the same space, 3dc in every space till the end of the row.

Row 4: ch 3, 3 DC in the next space, 3dc in every space, 1dc in the last st.

Using the yellow color for , repeat row 3 once and fasten off.
