How to crochet the Bobble stitch heart

So this was my first attempt to make the bobble stitch heart, If you've been following me for a while, you would know how much I love the bobble stitch and I will always try to make different shapes and projects using it, some of what I did are :

And I'm still thinking what else I can do with the bobble stitch.

This heart is not very difficult but needs some concentration especially when expanding the triangle and then shaping the heart, I tried to make the tutorial as easy as possible to understand, however if you need any help, you are always welcome to ask questions

Materials:

red heart jumbo

Crochet hook: 5.5 MM

Abbreviations:

ch: chain

st: stitch

sl: slip

sl st: slip stitch

sc: single crochet

 

Written Pattern

Row 1:Ch4, 4 incomplete dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, join all together to form the bobble, sc in the last ch.

Row 2: ch1, 2sc in the first st, 2sc in the last st.

Row3: Ch1, bobble in the 1st st, SC in the next st, bobble in the next st, sl st in the last st.

Row 4: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st as ch1, 1 sc in every st, 2 sc in the last st.

Row 5: ch 1, bobble in the same st, sc in the next st, bobble in the next st, sc in the next, bobble in the next, sc in the next, sl st in the last st.

Row 6: Repeat row 4

Row 7: Repeat row 5Row 10: ch1, 1sc in the same ch, 1 sc in every st , 2 sc in the last st.

Row 11: bobbles

Row 12: ch, sc in every st

Row 13: ch, sc in the 1st st, bobble in the next, repeat, bobble in the very last st, sl st in the same one

Row14: ch, sc in every st

Row 15:Bobble

Row 16: ch, sc in every st

Row 17: after the 4th bobble, sl st, continue 4 bobble and sl st in the last st.

Row 18: sc in the 2nd st, sc till the previous sl st, turn.

Row 19: ch1, bobble in the next st, sc in the next st, repeat, sl st in the last st.

Row20: ch 1, sc in the next st, sc in every st, sl st in the last one, turn

ch1, bobble in the next st, sc in the next, bobble, sl st in the next st

turn , ch 1, sc in the next 3 st, sl st down to where you started

sc in every st til end of the row( making the second half of the  heart)
