Daisy granny square pattern

Daisy granny square is one of those pretty patterns which you can use for any projects if you want to change from the classic granny square, it's pretty and eye catching especially if the right colors are used.

I tried this for the first time and I'm in love with it , I mostly liked the yellow/lilac, gray combination and I'm already preparing  a project with it.

The written pattern is below and you can find as well the downloadable pattern if you like it better.
You can use whichever yarn you wish but since it's summer I have used a cotton yarn for this demonstration.
