dc: double crochet

sc: single crochet

hdc: half double crochet

sl st: slip stitch

V stitch: double crochet, chain 1, double crochet in a chain 1 space

Written Pattern

Row 1: Ch5, dc in the 5th ch from the hook.

Row 2: ch3, 2v sts in the ch1 sp (previous v stitch)

Row 3: ch3, 2v sts in the 1st v st (ch1 sp), v st in the next v st.

Row 4: ch3, 2v sts in the 1st v st (ch1 sp), v st in the next v sts, dc in the last st.

Repeat row 4 till row 67.

Color change:

with the hook still in the last st, pull the new color into the loop and continue as per pattern
