Cross stitch shawl crochet pattern*
This shawl is worked from bottom to top increasing the number of cross stitches in every row till you reach 100 rows or required length.

Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Dc: double crochet
Cross stitch: sk 1st st, work 1 dc in the next 2 sts, come back to the sk st and work a back dc.
Written pattern
Ch6
Row 1: dc in the last 2 chs , yarn over, come back to the ch behind the 1st dc and work a back post dc.
Row 2: 4 sc in the 1st st,, sc in the following sts.
Row 3: ch2, sk 1st st, dc in the next 2 sts, come back and work a back dc in the sk st. (cross stitch made), repeat another cross st in the next 3 sts.
Row 4: repeat row 2
Row 5: repeat row 3 (cross st throughout the row) Alternate between row 4 and 5 till row 100. Fasten off
