How to crochet the scallop stitch blanket

Kobo Australia_Aura Edition 2 The scallop stitch or for some people, the shell stitch crochet , is a beautiful crochet design for making different crochet projects, it is pretty to the eye and unbelievably  easy to make, using different colors will make it even more stunning however even with one color still looks attractive.
I have used green and purple tones here as I loved how they looked merged together.
The blanket is thick and warm without being heavy, perfect for movie nights :) at home
within maximum two weeks you can finish a big one.
I have done two main projects using the scallop stitch and they are this blanket and the beautiful oversized cardigan below.
I thought at first that i'll never be able to finish it the way I want it however it worked out very well.
